Last night was a rough one. He had trouble breathing, they are trying to wean him off the steroids and the swelling in his chest and head increased. He had a nebulizing treatment last night and vomited during the suction. He did sleep through the night after that. The doctor hasn't seen him yet today, so I will post after the visit.

Hope you are all doing great today, it is a beautiful day here and our thoughts are with you all.

P.S.Please pray for my brokers Peter and Tom Carney and their family, they lost their mother over the weekend. She had a stroke and was gone so suddenly, it is a tragedy for the family and I am praying that they will get through this difficult time.

Hello to all. Again we want to thank you for the messages and prayers. Today was bittersweet. The neurosurgeon came this morning and removed the shunt and the central line and I have been holding him all day long! He is very uncomfortable because he hasn't used his muscles all week and I am quite certain that he has a headache from the surgery and the shunt. His hair is so cute and messy where part of it was shaved. Mom said he looks like Donald Trump with the bad comb-over.

He still has a fever from the infection from the IV, but they are treating it. This afternoon the oncologist Dr. Kramer came to see us with the results of the test from Dr. Amar at Johns Hopkins. The diagnosis is Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor. This type of tumor, she explained, is extremely agressive and statistics are not very promising, as in most cases it comes back after chemo. She is going to do some research about suitable treatment over the weekend which she anticipates would start in two weeks. She also said, "I don't want to give you statistics because Anthony could be the one who survives, he could be the miracle." Certainly with all of you praying for him she might be right. I just don't know what else to say.
